For example, when we sourcing our natural Astaxanthin, we conduct audits of the Astaxanthin farm in Yunnan, China has provided us with the assurance that only natural Astaxanthin is going into our product.
Natural Source Of Raw Material: ASTAXANTHIN
Natural astaxanthin produced by the microalgae Haemotoccus pluvialis, is a powerful antioxidant that protects the body from oxidative stress and inflammation. But due to astaxanthin’s growing popularity as a health supplement, supplies of synthetic astaxanthin is increasing in the market This poses a problem because, compared to natural astaxanthin, synthetic astaxanthin is:
• Synthesized from petrochemicals in a laboratory.
• 20-50x weaker as an antioxidant.

Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Certified Facility
The predominantly purpose of implementing GMP in the manufacture is to ensure that the quality requirements of all Nova products are met and consistently maintained to safeguard public health.
As a Malaysia company, Nova adheres to the most rigorous quality and safety standard in Asia. Nova relies on multiple quality measures to ensure our products meet the highest standards. We practice accordance to the general guidelines on Good Manufacturing Practices recommended by Ministry of Health Malaysia.
At Nova GMP certified manufacturing facilities, we conduct rigorous quality assurance by ensuring proper work environments, enforcing work rules and etiquette, performing inspections and checks throughout the manufacturing process, from acceptance and usage of raw materials, packaging and delivery of the final product to our consumer. These procedures comprising of 126 standard operating procedures, batch processing records, quality management standards, HALAL and cGMP.
Furthermore, to maintain GMP certification, the facilities are periodically inspected and audited by National Pharmaceutical Regulatory Agency (NPRA) to ensure continuous compliance in the areas of personnel, manufacturing plant, sanitation, equipment, quality operation, production and process controls, warehouse, distribution, and post-distribution practices.
